With the gradual maturity of industrial robot technology and the continuous expansion of application scenarios, the demand for global industrial robots will continue to increase. It is expected that global industrial robot sales will remain at 15% from 2018 to 2020. Growth rate, global industrial robot sales will reach 396,900 units in 2018.
In the global sales of industrial robots in various regions of the world, the total sales volume of industrial robots in Asia reached 242,000 units in 2017, and the sales volume of industrial robots has exploded. It is expected that sales will exceed 350,000 units in 2020. In 2017, sales of industrial robots in Europe will be 64,000. Taiwan, with an increase of 8.9% in the 59,000 units in 2016; sales of industrial robots in the Americas was 5 million units, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year.
According to the data, the sales volume of industrial robots in China in 2009 was 120,800 units, an increase of 32.2% from the 91,400 units in 2016. With the increase in demand for industrial robots, China's industrial robot sales are expected to reach 147,000 units in 2018, accounting for 37% of global industrial robot sales.
